Planning - Promo video

1960s 


The sixties was an incredible , exciting , inventive and vibrant time. The 60s allowed people to march into the new decade with more enthusiasm, hope and self belief. The 60s moved 

In the 1960s the hippies, undertook the largest experiment with drug use in the history of mankind. It was an act that made people trust their fellow friend and also give them a chance to get high and have a new experience. It was freedom, rebellion, it was cool. The Beatles were introduced to drugs to allow them to get through long nights performing in drunken clubs.


                                                                                                                          

During this time, Promotional music videos start to come to life. This was when music videos where made after a song was made, so the music video would come out at least six months or more after the single was released. Promotional music videos were not made for every single on an album, this would save money. The main reason for promotion music videos was for an artist to keep their fans and supporters close to them. E.g. when an artist goes on tour, the music video will come out then, so the fans wouldn’t forget about the particular songs.
